Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brunswick was the 2-0 winner over Calvary Day when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavaliers 25-20 in the first set.

Brunswick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Brunswick has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season. As for Calvary Day, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Brunswick and Calvary Day will both be playing Hilton Head Island the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cavaliers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
