Football Game Preview: NYOS Charter Jaguars vs. Valor South Austin Falcons

The NYOS Charter Jaguars will head out to face off against the Valor South Austin Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Valor South Austin took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on NYOS Charter, who comes in off a win.

NYOS Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 69-19 win over Texas Empowerment Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, Valor South Austin was beaten by Grace Academy 73-28 on Friday.

NYOS Charter's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Valor South Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

NYOS Charter didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Valor South Austin when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with an 84-78 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
