Basketball Game Preview: Wonewoc-Center Wolves vs. Hillsboro Tigers

Wonewoc-Center hasn't had much luck against Hillsboro recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wonewoc-Center Wolves will head out to challenge the Hillsboro Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Wonewoc-Center lost to Brookwood on the road by a 80-64 margin. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillsboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against New Lisbon by a score of 59-50 on Tuesday.

Hillsboro has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Wonewoc-Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Wonewoc-Center was dealt a bruising 69-20 loss at the hands of Hillsboro in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Wonewoc-Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
