Baseball Recap: Eau Claire Takes a Loss

Eau Claire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Fairfield Central Griffins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Eau Claire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Fairfield Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Eau Claire will host Horse Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Shamrocks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stallions have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season. As for Fairfield Central, they will challenge Dreher at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
