Ridgemont and Upper Scioto Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Golden Gophers will challenge the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Upper Scioto Valley fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Ridgedale by a score of 48-41 on Thursday.

Upper Scioto Valley's win came from a few key players that Ridgemont will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kamyn Titus, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Castle, who shot 56% from the field on her way to 13 points.

Ridgemont's record now sits at 10-7. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their record is now 6-11.

Ridgemont came up short against Upper Scioto Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, falling 42-29. Can the Golden Gophers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
