Football Recap: Clay Center Tigers vs. Wamego Red Raiders
After flying high against Concordia last Friday, Clay Center came back down to earth. The Clay Center Tigers lost to the Wamego Red Raiders on the road by a 28-12 margin on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Marysville is coming into the matchup with three straight victories on the road, so Clay Center will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Wamego, they will host Abilene on Friday. Abilene will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
