Recap: Bishop Kenny Crusaders vs. Oakleaf Knights
In what's become a running theme this season, the Bishop Kenny Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oakleaf 48-15 on the road. The team ran away with 39 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
It was another big night for Clare Coyle, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Talbert, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Bishop Kenny's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23 points. As for Oakleaf, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Bishop Kenny will be playing at home against Buchholz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakleaf, they will head out on the road to square off against Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
