Football Recap: Waldport Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Waldport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 54-12 loss at the hands of the Lowell Devils. While losing is never fun, the Irish can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Devils are ranked 18th).

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lowell, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Waldport is set to square off against their familiar foe Toledo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lowell will take on rival Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
