Oliviah Valdez and Maya Vivas were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Valdez didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Vivas tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, Valdez gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024. At the plate, Valdez scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Vivas went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits Valdez has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Walden Grove let Natalie Holzer and Isabel Higuera run wild. Holzer went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double, while Higuera scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most RBI Holzer has posted since back in February of 2024. Liana Acuna was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Talisa Yrigolla made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.
Walden Grove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Amphitheater's loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
