Cascade piles up the points against South Putnam

Recap: Cascade Cadets vs. South Putnam Eagles

The Cascade Cadets came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 63-29 victory over South Putnam. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cascade also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Creedance Chittenden was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with three steals. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Claire Austin, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.

Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for South Putnam, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Cascade will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Danville at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. South Putnam will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sullivan at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
