Volleyball Game Preview: Cobden Appleknockers vs. Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes + How To Watch

The Cobden Appleknockers will venture away from home to face off against the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cobden will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Cobden was able to grind out a solid win over Egyptian, taking the game 2-0.

Cobden easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Zeigler-Royalton beat Joppa-Maple Grove 2-0 on Saturday. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Zeigler-Royalton's record now sits at 11-16. As for Cobden, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Cobden came up short against Zeigler-Royalton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Appleknockers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
