Soccer Recap: Susquenita Takes a Loss

Susquenita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenwood Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Susquenita have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jacob White, who's now up to three this season.

Susquenita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Susquenita and Greenwood will both be playing West Perry the next time they take the pitch. The Blackhawks will head out to face the Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
