Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Thackerville's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Thackerville's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wapanucka Indians as the Thackerville Wildcats made off with a 44-21 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Thackerville has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Wapanucka, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Thackerville will challenge Turner at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Turner's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Wapanucka, they will head out on the road to challenge Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st.
