Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cousino). Their defense stepped up to hand the Fraser Ramblers an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what Cousino needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Cousino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for Fraser, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cousino will host Sterling Heights Stevenson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fraser, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chippewa Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
