Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Grace Christian

Grace Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past the United Christian Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 38-19. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Grace Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Greenmun, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Greenmun has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Graycie Kincheloe was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for United Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Grace Christian will venture away from home to square off against Appalachian Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United Christian Academy, they will welcome Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
