Baseball Recap: El Camino Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when El Camino duked it out with Sage Creek on Tuesday. The Wildcats wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Ethan Stelzer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Jaeyden Molex also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

El Camino's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Sage Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

While El Camino had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
