Basketball Recap: Noble-Whitley Warriors Piles Up the Points Against La Lumiere

Noble-Whitley Warriors humbled the La Lumiere Lakers with a 46-18 victory. The team accrued 35 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Noble-Whitley Warriors was led to victory by Areina B. and Clare A.. B. shot 58% from the field on her way to 18 points and four steals, while A. dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, B. now owns an excellent 46.7% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Melina P., who posted six points.

Noble-Whitley Warriors' win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points on average over those games. As for La Lumiere, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
