Basketball Recap: South Tama County Takes a Loss

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 68-18 defeat at the hands of the Williamsburg Raiders. The Trojans were probably out for revenge after losing 67-34 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Tama County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Williamsburg, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Tama County will take on Vinton-Shellsburg in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamsburg, they are taking a road trip to take on Clear Creek-Amana at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Clear Creek-Amana's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.
