Baseball Recap: Barron Collier Takes a Loss

The Barron Collier Cougars came up short against the Manatee Hurricanes on Wednesday and fell 7-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Khayden Collier made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Waite, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Barron Collier's record is now 7-7. As for Manatee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Barron Collier will take on Bolles at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manatee, they will take on Davidson Academy in a tournament on Thursday.
