Basketball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

After flying high against Everett last Monday, Waverly came back down to earth. The match between the Waverly Warriors and the East Lansing Trojans didn't end well, with the Waverly Warriors falling 57-40. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Waverly's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for East Lansing, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Waverly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Lansing, they will take on DeWitt in a tournament on Friday. DeWitt will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something East Lansing surely won't give up without a fight.
