Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends North Oldham's Winning Streak

North Oldham and Notre Dame Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but North Oldham had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Pandas. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Vita Sensenbrenner paced North Oldham's offense, picking up nine kills. Sensenbrenner got some help from Berkeley Baxter and her 16 assists.

Notre Dame Academy was led to victory by Dara Jackson and Kaia Tilden. Jackson had 16 digs and two aces, while Tilden had nine digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Jackson is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

North Oldham moved to 26-12 with that defeat, which also ended their 12-match winning streak. As for Notre Dame Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.
