Softball Recap: Valley Forge Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valley Forge can now relate to. They came up short against the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers on Thursday, falling 19-1. The Patriots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Valley Forge's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Cuyahoga Falls, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-15.

Looking ahead, Valley Forge will square off against Normandy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will take on Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
