Softball Recap: Falls City Comes Up Short

Falls City and Shiner squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Falls City had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Comanches. The Beavers have struggled against the Comanches recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Shiner, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Falls City nor Shiner have any future games scheduled.
