Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mullen). They secured a 71-66 W over the Sandhills/Thedford Knights on Tuesday. This was payback for the Broncos, who suffered a 43-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Mullen and bumps their season record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mullen will head out to take on Sandhills Valley on Thursday. Mullen is facing Sandhills Valley at the right time seeing as Sandhills Valley is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cody-Kilgore on Friday.
