Basketball Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-46 bruising from the Jackson County Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 54-53.

Apalachee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Jackson County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-13 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apalachee will take on Loganville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson County, they will host Clarke Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson County is facing Clarke Central at the right time seeing as Clarke Central is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
