Softball Recap: Palisades Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Porter Ridge, Palisades was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves by a score of 10-6. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pumas needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Sanaa Dorsey was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Janiya Johnson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Palisades' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ballantyne Ridge, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Palisades will head out to face off against Forestview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palisades is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Providence's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
