Baseball Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Rossville Hornets
Sheridan had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it five. They came up short against the Rossville Hornets, falling 10-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackhawks of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Ashton Abbott was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Coincidentally, Sheridan and Rossville will both be playing Carroll the next time they take the field. The Blackhawks will host the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
