Coronado faced Faith Lutheran in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Coronado couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Taylor Takahashi, who's now up to six this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coronado fell to 6-1. As for Faith Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
