Softball Recap: Dayton Broncos vs. North Shore Mustangs
Dayton was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They won by a run and slipped past the North Shore Mustangs 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.
Jess Woods tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Dayton will take on Lake Creek in a tournament on Friday. As for North Shore, they will head out on the road to take on Clear Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Falls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
