After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty-Benton, Genoa Area was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They breezed by the Wauseon Indians to the tune of 66-39. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Genoa Area's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Wauseon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Genoa Area will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Liberty Center at 7:30 p.m. As for Wauseon, they will head out to challenge Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
