Softball Recap: South Dearborn Takes a Loss

South Dearborn fell victim to Franklin County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 25-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for South Dearborn and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Franklin County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Dearborn will square off against rival Rushville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Franklin County is set to challenge their familiar foe East Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
