Basketball Recap: Windsor Central Comes Up Short

Windsor Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Greene Trojans, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Black Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 581st, while the Trojans are ranked 109th).

Windsor Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Greene, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Windsor Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greene, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Delaware Academy at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Delaware Academy sitting on six straight wins and Greene on four.
