Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood and Eastside squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Northwood had to settle for second. They took a 54-35 bruising from the Eastside Spartans. The Panthers have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Eastside, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Northwood nor Eastside have any future games scheduled.
