Soccer Game Preview: Sierra Pacific vs. Kerman

Sierra Pacific hasn't had much luck against Kerman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Golden Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Sierra Pacific is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Sierra Pacific's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Hanford West by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kerman took on Washington Union on Thursday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. Given Kerman's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Washington Union are ranked 827th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carlos Corrales was the driving force of Kerman's attack as he scored both of Kerman's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Sierra Pacific's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-5. As for Kerman, their win bumped their record up to 10-5-5.

Sierra Pacific might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Kerman when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Golden Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
