Baseball Game Preview: Gaffney Indians vs. Riverside Warriors

For the second straight game, Gaffney will face off against Riverside. The Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaffney is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

On Monday, Gaffney came up short against Riverside and fell 4-1. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly three runs.

For Riverside's part, Tyson Fine spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Riverside secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Cooper Noble, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Riverside moved to 11-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Gaffney, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
