Soccer Game Preview: Orange vs. Riverside-Durham

The Orange Panthers will face off against the Riverside-Durham Pirates at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Orange's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Eno River Academy by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Riverside-Durham's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Garner 1-0. Caroline Alcala-Ruiz had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Pirates.

The win made it two in a row for Riverside-Durham and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two contests. As for Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
