After a string of seven wins, West Fork's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hampton-Dumont/CAL. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hampton-Dumont/CAL apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

West Fork's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Fork will welcome Central Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Humboldt at 6:15 p.m.
