Softball Preview: Morgantown Mohigans vs. Preston Knights

Morgantown has gone a perfect 5-0 against Preston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mohigans will head out to challenge the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Morgantown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Morgantown got the win against Wheeling Park by a conclusive 8-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mohigans.

MADISON WISMAN was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.
