Timberline faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Wolves narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 2-1. Timberline found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: four Timberline players were handed yellow cards.

Timberline is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five games. As for Eagle, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 1-3-2.
