Soccer Recap: Voorheesville vs. Cairo-Durham
Voorheesville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Cairo-Durham Mustangs 8-0 on Saturday. It was an even better day for Jordyn Chrysler as she scored three goals for her team.
The victory made it two in a row for Voorheesville and bumps their season record up to 14-4. As for Cairo-Durham, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
Voorheesville will take on Chatham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chatham knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Voorheesville likes a good challenge. Cairo-Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
