Soccer Game Preview: Post Falls vs. Lakeland

The Post Falls Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Lakeland Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Post Falls, who comes in off a win.

Post Falls' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Lewiston with a sharp 4-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Post Falls.

They hit Lewiston with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylan Brandt (2), Quincy Allred, and Cruz Andrich.

Meanwhile, Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Moscow.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Post Falls, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-10.

Post Falls suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Lakeland in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
