Football Game Preview: Inchelium Hornets vs. Cusick Panthers + How To Watch

The Inchelium Hornets will challenge the Cusick Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Inchelium's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Inchelium is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Wilbur-Creston-Keller, who was ranked 15th at the time (Inchelium was ranked 23rd). The Hornets took a hard 54-38 fall against the Wildcats on Friday. The loss was the Hornets' first of the season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Gaige Stensgar, who threw for 112 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and one score. Another signal caller making a difference was Derek Perez, who gained 210 total yards.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cusick, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They blew past Mary Walker 42-22 on Friday. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cusick's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Inchelium, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Inchelium against Cusick in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 68-4 victory. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
