Volleyball Game Preview: Christian Brothers Falcons vs. Bella Vista Broncos

The Christian Brothers Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Bella Vista Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Christian Brothers will be strutting in after a win while Bella Vista will be coming in after a loss.

Last Monday, Christian Brothers earned a 3-1 victory over Ponderosa. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Christian Brothers had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-11, 25-7, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Bella Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Inderkum.

While Bella Vista had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 19-25, 25-19.

Christian Brothers' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. As for Bella Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.

Everything went Christian Brothers' way against Bella Vista when the teams last played back in March, as Christian Brothers made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
