Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morton). They put the hurt on the Normal West Wildcats with a sharp 10-2 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Morton, who have now won 16 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Morton pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 64 goals over those ten games. As for Normal West, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morton will face off against Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Normal West, they will head out to square off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
