Softball Recap: Broughton Takes a Loss

Broughton fell victim to Corinth Holders and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 20-0 to the Pirates. If the Capitals were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Broughton and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Corinth Holders, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Corinth Holders will be playing at home against West Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Broughton will be paying especially close attention to the Pirates' matchup: after the Pirates face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Broughton again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
