Cascade won the last time they faced North Marion and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars blew past the Huskies 11-4. Considering the Cougars have won 17 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Cascade let Pearl Pruett and Amyah Miranda run wild. Pruett went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs, while Miranda went 1-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave Pruett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Scanlan, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Cascade hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 18 consecutive contests.
