Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Grove). They walked away with a 19-7 victory over the Salem Seminoles on Wednesday. The Wolverines didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Union Grove's defense and their 22 sacks. Avery Stafford led the group effort, picking up five of those sacks all by herself. Alani David got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Salem, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Union Grove has already played their next matchup (against Dutchtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Salem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Miller Grove on the 6th.
