Arbor View hadn't done well against Shadow Ridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Aggies walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. The win was nothing new for the Aggies as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Arbor View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18.

Tamara Vai Unga paced Arbor View's offense, picking up 23 kills. Unga got some help from Alexxa Chan and her 41 assists. Unga was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Shadow Ridge lost, don't look at Camden Finlinson. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and five aces.

Arbor View's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for Shadow Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-15.

Looking ahead, Arbor View will take on Durango at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shadow Ridge, after both having extra time off, they and Palo Verde will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
