Basketball Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They took a blow against the Sundown Roughnecks, falling 65-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-20 back in January.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Sundown, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-17 record.

Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sundown, they will square off against Whiteface at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Whiteface will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something Sundown surely won't give up without a fight.
