Volleyball Recap: Angeline Academy of Innovation Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Angeline Academy of Innovation lost against Fivay back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Archers fell 3-1 to the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 24-26, 25-20.

Despite the defeat, Angeline Academy of Innovation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mia Root had ten digs and four assists. Root is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Kappelmann, who had four aces.

Angeline Academy of Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Fivay, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Angeline Academy of Innovation has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Wiregrass Ranch on the 2nd. As for Fivay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Hudson on the 2nd.
